It is Kali Puja time. Pandals are getting ready in Kolkata and West Bengal for Kali Puja, an another important occasion, which is marked two weeks after the celebration of Laxmi puja. It is on October 28 this year. Kali Puja is performed in the honour of Kali, the Goddess of destruction. It normally coincides with Diwali.
