Maddox Square is all set to host the popular puja of the town. Though rain had its effect on the ground but that will not and is not dampening the spirit of young ones. Many of them had flocked today but numbers will swell in coming 3/4 days. Zee Bangla has set up podium and studio in the Ritchie Park, for covering the action live and has roped in many corporate sponsors - some say it is corporatisation of the Puja ! Ritchie Road, Earle Street and Palit Street are all lit up. Stalls in the park are getting ready, old 'puchka wala's' had to move out of the park and wll be replaced by the paid stalls. Sugar cane juice wala gets replaced by Pepsi stall !. Tea shop on the Palit Street is relocating itself and trying to move opposite the park.
By the way Royal Bengal Tigers, ICL team will have a stall in the Maddox Square -an effort to make a mark in city of Kolkata Knight Riders !
