Rowing at Dhakuria Lake

Rabindra Sarobar or Dhakuria Lake is an important water body of Kolkata located in its Southern. It is an artificial lake which provides rowing facilities. Ambience is placid, soothing and peaceful but humid. There is a tiny island at the south of the lake, which is linked with the mainland via a wooden bridge. It has parks, gardens and walking alleys which like all visiting spots needs bit of cleaning up. It also has a rowing club, swimming club, children's park and an open air theatre Mukta Manch.
