Puja Blogs catch up on net !

The festival season is on and celebration fever has got everyone across India and Indians throughout the world. People away from home are catching up with their past and new experiences on Internet. Durga Puja has taken over the blog-world.
DURGA PUJA brings in festivity, especially to the City of Joy, Kolkata. It is ’pandal’-hopping time here. Though with growing corporate sponsors for major ’pandals’ it is time for companies also. Kolkata city gets crowded, people are on streets, especially in evenings, it is full of life and off course, is blessed with its traffic jams and decibel levels going up.

But with all this happening even in the blog-world, reporting what is happening in and out of ’Puja pandals’ also goes up. Puja blogs do catch up. Bloggers write about their personal experiences, ’adda’ chats, ’pandals’ one hopped in last evening or day before. What they like what they did not ? Which ’pandal’ is good? Personal blog entries hike up, not to left behind the regular bloggers. Photo sharing on what is happening in city goes up! Many share photographs from different angles, probably collection on the blogs is better than even one sees in media!

Not to left behind be one who are out of Kolkata, in West Bengal, India and even across world – some share their old experiences and how they are missing the Puja.

People in UK, Toronto or Montréal are sharing their experiences of puja their on blogs. Some blogs talk about Durga puja in Canada, while newsonnorteast talks about Puja in the United Kingdom.

Shahrukh Khan’s visit to Kolkata and his song and dance is on many blogs. Hindu-blog which catches information about daily Puja, thoughts, quotes, history, dates of Puja and is very informative. Blogs like Coffee Rings and Everywhere passion2makeadifference talk about various experiences.

Other blogs like this one shares photographs of many ’pandals’ of Kolkata and has action from various parts of Kolkata like Maddox Square. It is quite interesting to read these blogs, if you cannot be there, one can definitely read them especially out of city and across globe! Majority of them about original one’s own experiences. Though some normally news blogs use stories released by news agencies. Global warming and nature which was covered by media is going to be the theme is on many blogs.
