Monsoon may hit West Bengal in the next few days. Met office in Kolkata shared the same information with media. Anyway early morning onwards Kolkata had a light drizzle, easing the heat. Though yesterday met office had issued a cyclone alert, warning of heavy rain in south Bengal in the next 48 hours and asking fishermen not to go to sea. The expected cyclonic storm and the early monsoon onset are related. Sharing some pictures of Kollkata today morning as it drizzle ! (Pic details...
